SELECTION, PRESENTATION
AND PUBLICATION OF PAPERS

The symposium will comprise

Papers should be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Authors. These Instructions are also available as a Word document which may be used as a template for your papers.

The language of the Symposium will be English.

Proceedings: All contributed papers and keynote and invited lectures will be published by Begell House Inc. in a Proceedings CD-ROM. They will also be available for download on the Begell House Electronic Data Center (http://www.edata-center.com/).

Journal publication: Begell House has announced the creation of a new journal entitled Computational Thermal Sciences . This will be a peer-reviewed journal that will commence both print and online publication in 2008. It will consider both fundamental and applied papers in all areas of computational thermal sciences: thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer and mass transfer in solids, liquids and gases, with applications in areas such as energy, materials processing, manufacturing, engine and refrigeration cycles, combustion and the environment.

Papers on all aspects of thermal sciences will be welcome: both the development of new methods and algorithms and the application of new or existing methods to the solution of existing problems.

Therefore CHT-08 authors who believe their papers are of journal (archival) standard are invited to advise the CHT-08 office that they wish their papers to be reviewed for Computational Thermal Sciences as well as for presentation at CHT-08 and publication in the symposium proceedings. (Note: Begell House Inc. will own the copyright of both the journal and the proceedings, eliminating the problem of duplicate publication so that the same paper may, subject to review, appear in both places.)
